Dune Kennings placed seventeenth in what may be the final ASP Australasia Pro Junior event for 2012.  The one star Billabong Tahiti Nui Pro Junior was held at Parpara Beach, Tahiti.

Kennings was eliminated from the event in the Round of 32 by runner up Tefaafana Ariihoe (PYF) and Jordin Watson (AUS).

Johnny Hicks maintains his hold on the number one position for the Kiwis in 15^th with Alex Dive in 18^th, Ben Poulter in 31^st and Dune Kennings in 85^th.
