2010 ISA BGM and AGM Notification |

The 2010 ISA Biennial General Meeting (BGM) and Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place during the upcoming Billabong ISA World Surfing Games in Punta Hermosa, Peru.
The BGM will include an electoral process for the election of the President and two (2) Vice President positions. NGBs have the right to introduce in the Agenda the names and Curriculum Vitae (CV or Resume) of any person intent on becoming eligible for nomination at the BGM. The existing ISA Executive Committee may introduce CVs as well.
All CVs must be received by ISA Headquarters no later than 30 days prior to the meeting date. Only individuals with submitted CVs are allowed to become nominated at the BGM and run in the elections for the President and Vice President positions.
Biennial General Meeting - October 22, 2010
The Biennial General Meeting of the General Assembly is held every two years. The function of the BGM is to deal with matters listed in the ISA Constitution. The main topics for the BGM are the President's message and financial report, elections of new officers, decisions on members' status, and constitutional motions.
Annual General Meeting - October 23, 2010
The Annual General Meeting of the General Assembly is held once a year. The function of the AGM is to review the report of the Executive Committee, including the ISA's financial statements, consider current issues and vote as required. The General Assembly will also be informed about any changes to the Rule Book, as approved by the Technical and Executive Committees of the ISA.
