The ASP Women's World Rankings have been updated after the Maresia Pro was completed in Brazil this morning. Paige Hareb dropped a couple of places to now sit in 11th equal with one event remaning for the year. Paige placed 25th at the event, unable to improve her points tally for the year after posting a 6.25 point heat total and being eliminated by Anali Gomez (Per) and Sayuri Hashimoto (JAP).
Coco Ho took out the Brazil event followed by Pauline Ado, both surfers leap frogging Paige in the process. The final event of the year will be held at Haleiwa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii from the 12 - 23 November. The event has a six star rating with plenty of points on offer for Paige to jump back up into a qualifying position inside the top 6 surfers.
In the meantime Paige will be concentrating her efforts on the World Title race where she currently sits in ninth equal with three events remaining. Paige will be off to Portugal soon to contest the Rip Curl Pro and will then head to Puerto Rico for the Rip Curl Search before ending the year with the final event in Hawaii.
