WHAT: The Auahi Kore Aotearoa Maori Surfing Titles. This will be the 14th time the event has been held and the second year in a row that the event has been staged in Raglan.
WHEN: Saturday and Sunday 25th – 26th November 2006.
WHERE: Manu Bay Raglan – offering up one of the best left hand point breaks in New Zealand as well as perfect viewing from the expansive car park.
WHO: In excess of one hundred of the best Maori surfers from around the country contesting eight divisions. The surfers will be out to make the most of the event by catching up with whanau and friends as much as contesting the eight titles that are up for grabs. Key names to look out for will be Morehu Roberts, Daniel Kereopa, Richard Christie, Jessica Santorik, Mischa Davis, Leon Santorik, Motu Mataa, and Jason Matthews.

FORMAT: Standard event format with four man heats and 50% progression in all eight divisions. The finals in all divisions will be staged on Sunday the 26th of November.

REGISTRATION: The Powhiri is being held at Poihakena Marae on Wainui Road on the way out to the point.
