In February Surfing New Zealand launched it's first Have a Go day for young primary and intermediate kids in the Bay of Plenty Region.  The three have a go days were held at Mount Maunganui and Ohope Beach in conjunction with local boardrider clubs, surf schools and through the help of SPARC and Sport Bay of Plenty via Kiwi Sport funding.
