Bobby Hansen was eliminated overnight (Wednesday) in the Onbongo six star WQS event being held in Brazil.  Bobby moved through the first round the night prior but lost out in the second round in a very close heat.  The placings were Simao Romao (Bra), 18.23, 1st, Warwick Wright (Zaf), 13.76, 2nd, Bobby Hansen (NZL), 12.77, 3rd, Savio Caneiro (Bra), 10.57, 4th. 

Bobby finishes the event placed 97th and receives 350 points which will count toward his best seven results for the year.

Bobby was the only New Zealand surfer at the event.  The next event for the Kiwi's will be the OP Pro in Hawaii - the first event of the Vans Triple Crown.
