For approximately the past twelve months the Surfing New Zealand Inc (SNZ) Board has been discussing with members both individually and collectively a proposed new constitution. The purpose of the Special General Meeting is to table the proposed new constitution for approval. Check out all the details inside.
Purpose
In legal terms the resolution and business to be moved and considered at the SGM will be “To rescind the existing constitution and to adopt the proposed constitution enclosed with the Notice of the SGM”.

Attendance:
Organisations and Boardrider Clubs should confirm their attendance at the Special General Meeting to Greg Townsend by Monday 24th August.
Voting Procedure:
Only authorised representatives of incorporated affiliated clubs present shall be entitled to vote at any meeting. For the purposes of this clause, any such authorised representative must be a current financial member of the incorporated club which that person represents at the meeting and that person's authority to vote on behalf of the relevant club must be proved to the meeting Chairperson in writing prior to the meeting commencement.
