The Gisborne Regional Scholastic Champs will take place on the 23rd of July. The Gisborne team finished fourth at the National Scholastic Championships in 2009 and will be hoping to improve on their team result when the event hits their home town later this year (5th - 9th October). The team will be under the guidance of Gisborne legend Jay Quinn in 2010. Make sure all you Gissy groms get in and register early for this regional event and a shot at competing against the best junior surfers in New Zealand.
