The highly popular GromLab Surfer Development Camp is on again for 2016! The dates have been set and Gisborne Boardriders looks forward to seeing everyone down there way from Monday 26 September – Thursday 29 September.
This year the camp is scheduled ahead of the National Primary School Champs, so it will be a great lead up event for those wishing to compete the weekend following.
After feedback from the first year of the camp, some changes have been made to the four days that will bring added value and make the camp even more fun!
Thanks to support from the Eastland Community Trust, (ECT) Gisborne Boardriders has been able to grow the offering but still keep the costs low at $350 for the four Days.
Kelly Ryan & James Fowell will deliver another fantastic experience for young New Zealand surfers coming to Gisborne for the first week of the September school holidays.
There will be more surfing and less land-based activities. The popular trampoline training on “flexboards” has been retained and the big news this year is that we’ve joined forces with TAOS coaches Matt Scorringe & Alex Dive. Groms can therefore expect more focus on technique & video analysis, but as well, top New Zealand surf videographer, Damon Meade will be shooting footage every day for a Gromlab edit that will feature on Garage TV.
Spaces are limited so get in quick to ensure you don’t miss out. Register for the GromLab Surfer Development Camp here.
