Hyundai ix35 Top For Satisfaction
Written by Hyundai
Thursday, 27 May 2010
A top USA award for Hyundai’s stunning new ix35 SUV.  The Hyundai ix35 has won the honours in the Compact Crossover SUV Class at the 2010 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards.  The award measures the satisfaction of new car and SUV owners.

It’s further evidence of Hyundai’s fundamental commitment to customer satisfaction, globally as well as in New Zealand.

The ix35 launched as the Tucson late last year in the USA and has notched up a huge 170 percent sales growth year-on-year, part of an unprecedented global demand for the model.

Revolutionary in its all-new approach, ix35 brings a sleek, athletic, European flair to the “Fluidic Sculpture” design language from Hyundai.

“The Vehicle Satisfaction Awards are an important indicator that Hyundai is hitting the mark when it comes to pleasing buyers around the world,” commented
the Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai New Zealand, Tom Ruddenklau.

“We will continue to do so with Kiwi owners, with last month’s release of the i45 sedan to be followed by an all-new i20 small car later this year and numerous exciting new models to follow,” he said.

The Satisfaction Awards study, conducted by the Southern California-based automotive research firm, summarises the results of a survey conducted by 42,000 plus new car owners.

Respondents to the survey are owners of 2010 model-year cars and SUVs, and rate 48 different attributes which objectively measure the ownership experience for importance, from the initial purchase decision through to satisfaction post-purchase.

Hyundai’s Genesis sedan, a large car available only in left-hand-drive so not brought to New Zealand, was a repeat winner in the Aspirational Luxury Car Class which included strong competitors from Mercedes, BMW and Lexus among others.
