Divisions: Open Men, Women, Under 18 Men, Over 40, Over 50, SUP and SUP Race, Logger Expression Session
Information: The opening event of the tour brings all the surfers out of the woodwork and the event being held at Raglan will amplifiy this further. Held during the peak summer season the surfers have plenty of beach goers to surf in front of. Raglan is the best venue in New Zealand to watch surfing, with surfers a mere stones throw away from the rocks. Nice summer swells can frequent the West Coast at this time of the year and it is important that all surfers get their campaign off to the best possible start with a good result at the event.
Additional activities: Hyundai will lay on their usual hospitality in association with the local Hamilton Hyundai Dealer - Waikato Motor Group. Check out all the latest Hyundai vehicles or take on some other land based activities on the beach.
Promotional activity: There will be a gold coin donation BBQ and refreshments. The Hyundai girls will be out selling raffle tickets for the longboard. All proceeds from the raffle go to the Point Boardriders Club of Raglan.

Where: Piha Beach, Auckland

Information: The birth place of the modern surfboard in New Zealand is Piha Beach. Piha is notorious for big swells but this time of the year can be settled often with early morning offshores and afternoon sea breezes. Over 20 divisions are contested at the event over a seven day period. It is the perfect excuse for the ultimate surf trip/getaway. Make sure you take the chance to head to the event and catch some of the best surf that New Zealand has to offer.

Where: Sandy Bay, Whangarei
When: 1-3 February (Friday - Sunday)
Rating: SNZ Longboard 4 Star

Divisions: Open Men, Women, Under 18 Men, Over 40, Over 50, SUP, SUP Race, Logger Expression Session
Information: The Sandy Bay event is a must on the longboard calendar. Held over Waitangi Weekend, this event is like an annual pilgrimage where everyone gets together. Out of cell phone coverage, the place is tranquil and relaxing and the event has one of the best atmospheres there is. The event has recently held the tag of the most festive event of the tour with IC Motors stepping up the corporate hospitality with bands at the beach and big marquees.
Additional activities: Hyundai will lay on their usual hospitality in association with the local Hyundai Dealer IC Motors. Check out all the latest Hyundai vehicles.

Information: The fourth and penultimate event of the tour is where the top surfers make their move for a tour title. Fitzroy is the new venue on the block and will add a spin to the title race this year

Divisions: Open Men, Women, Under 18 Men, Over 40, Over 50, SUP, SUP Race and Logger Division
Information: The finale at the Mount will determine the Hyundai Tour Champions for 2013. Mount Maunganui is often regarded as the home of surfing and plays host to the biggest surf museum in New Zealand. Nice summer swells can frequent the East Coast of the North Island at this time of the year so everyone is geared up for a big finish to the Tour. You will have to be there to find out what goes down in 2013. Major bragging rights go on the line and hopes can often be dashed with just one bad heat. The event will be held on a Friday and Saturday with the Saturday night festivities coinciding with the end of the Tour.
