Jay Quinn has equalled Richard Christie’s year high ranking of 42nd after yesterday’s completion of the penultimate event of the year – the Reef Hawaiian Pro.
Despite Quinn watching the event via his computer screen while sitting in Australia,
he moved up two places on the ASP World
Rankings.
Quinn will remain in Australia
for the birth of his first child and will also miss the Van’s World Cup at Sunset Beach
which starts on Sunday.
Both Richard Christie and Billy Stairmand bowed out of their early match ups at
the event, Christie placing 49th and Stairmand 81st.
Christie sits one place back from Quinn in 43rd with Billy in 75th.
You can follow Ricardo and Billy's progress at the Van's World Cup on .
A big swell in the 15ft range is forecast early in the waiting period with
another swell lined up after that.
