As you may know the Maui Dophin is listed as critically endangered. The WWF have a sightings line that people can call to mention any sightings of the Maui Dolphin. The sightings number is 0800 4 MAUIS. As surfers we are always in the water so if you happen to think you see a Maui Dolphin, make sure ring it through. This information is crucial as it provides valuable data on where these dolphins are found that can then be presented to the government when they are considering the areas where these dolphins need to be protected.
