Surfing New Zealand and hosts Lion Rock Boardriders are having an evening dinner to be held at the Piha Surf Life Saving
Club on Friday the 18th January during the 2013 Hyundai National
Championships.
With the help of House of Travel, we have Allan Byrne and
Rod Dahlberg flying back from Australia and they will be guest speakers for the
night. Drew Bowden will also be playing an acoustic set.
The night will kick off at 6pm and will be a great
opportunity for everyone to get together and talk surfing past, present and
future. We are looking forward to a fantastic gathering of surfers from
around the country.
There will be a buffet dinner with refreshments supplied by
Duck Point Wines.
The function will be held the night before the final day of
the National Champs so it will be a great opportunity for everyone to also see
the country’s current crop of surfers in action.
