The NZ Schools Surfing Championships presented by the Raglan Surfing Academy students is ready to commence over the next few days. With around 35 schools entering, the draw is once again full and the event will need a full two days to get to the finals.

The outlook for waves is looking small on the Tuesday with an increase in swell predicted. This means there is a possibility that the event organizers may have to use the extended waiting period of the Wednesday and Thursday, or even the Thursday and Friday. If this occurs the registration will move to the evening before the first day of competition.

The decision for any changes will be made on the weekend. There will be a definite call made by 2.00pm Sunday afternoon.
