Billy pulled off an astonishing win on Sunday night winning the Movistar Pantin Classic in Spain - an ASP 6-star rated event. His result is the best by a Kiwi since the halcyn days of Maz Quinn in 2000/2001. Stairmand jumped just over 70 places to 88th on the ASP rankings one place ahead of Richard Christie and three places higher than Jay Quinn. He pocketed close to $30,000 NZD for his troubles. The ASP caught the day as it unfolded so click through and have a look. You can also leave a message of congrats on the SNZ Facebook.
