In News

The Rip Curl Pro presented by Corona has a new date of 13-14 April after small waves on the scheduled weekend forced a postponement.

New Zealand’s top surfers will now reset for the April date as they look garner further points on the New Zealand Surf Series.

The Rip Curl Pro will now form the first of four straight legs of the National Series which will head to Dunedin over Easter for the Emerson’s South Island Championships and then Christchurch for the Exit Surf Men’s Canterbury Surfing Championships the following weekend.  The final event of the season will be the Backdoor Oceanbridge Manu Bay Pro at the start of May with the Backdoor BayBash rounding out the year in November after the series takes a winter hiatus.
