Surfing New Zealand (SNZ) is seeking a self motivated, innovative, sport development professional to lead and support the ongoing development and implementation of the SNZ Strategic Plan 2009-2012.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience and qualifications relating to sport development and be passionate about, and committed to, making a positive difference. This position will require a person who is competent to lead change.
Based out of SNZ’s Raglan office, the Sport Development Officer will be responsible for daily tasks focussed in the areas of development and progression of surfing, Coaching Development, Official Development, Member Recognition, Event Development, High Performance, Water Safety and Education throughout New Zealand.
The ability to drive meaningful consultation with members and stakeholders will be a mandatory competency for this role.
