We feature Waretini Wano the second of two
New Zealand recipients for the 2012 ISA Scholarships. Ware as he is more
affectionately known recently placed fifth at the National Scholastic
Championships held at Fitzroy Beach New Plymouth. Ware was narrowly defeated by Paul Moretti
and Josh Taylor in the semifinals.
Earlier in the event he had been blowing the back out of waves and
moving through heats with ease.
Ware receives $1,000 from the ISA to go toward his surfing and education endeavours for the next twelve months. Get to know Ware a little more below.
